Week 78

There was this moment in the sunlight. Something beckoned with a brilliant glint -a coquettish wink at the lapping shore. I went to look closer; it was the largest piece of pyrite I’d ever seen. As I passed the glistening rocks, the cool spring water rippled at my calves, it was a moment of deep gratitude, wonder and peace. Watching the water purled around the worn rocks, each sang their own story. They were colorful songs, timeless and vivid, loud and ever so quiet.
