Week 98

Guys. This is our 100th painting together!!!! When Laert mentioned it I was shocked and then giddy. The sheer number is only a drop in our overall goal, but staggering to me in the moment.

I love how deep this one is- the darkness settles amongst the grass and along her back. Even still, the light- the light shines warm and true illuminating her face and breast with warm brilliance. No matter where we stand, be it even in the soggy dark gloom, there will always be hope when looking to the light.
