Week 10

Huge painting! I didn't believe that we could finish one so large in time, however with much oil, the painting glided into perfection. Although we fought over some canvas real estate, we seem to be finding a rhythm together- undulating over under/ right left as we strive to maintain our personal focus - while being aware of the other. In fact, since this panel is so large, it is flexible and while one of us worked in on area it could send waves to the other doing detail work. That was new to navigate - your hands and pressure and zoned in focus, while being fully aware of your counterparts intentions. Who can ever be certain of an artists' wrist intentions?
